Job Description

Catholic Charities is looking for a Performance Analyst to join the Accounting team in Denver, CO.


Administers a systematic, integrated process of performance evaluation throughout the agency. Collects, analyzes and reports on results. Assists in planning and performing internal audit duties.


  • Assists staff in developing annual plans with appropriate outcome measurements and provides analytical support and tools to assist.
  • Collects and analyzes ministry and support area evaluation and outcome measurement data.
  • Researches standards and best practices to use as benchmarks for service delivery and outcomes measurement.
  • Applies appropriate statistical methods for analyzing data.
  • Works with staff to design appropriate client surveys; administers, analyzes and reports on same.
  • Facilitates quarterly ministry and support functions reporting process.
  • Prepares statistical and qualitative communication materials for use by staff, management, funders, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with appropriate internal teams and/or consultants to undertake special research and evaluation projects such as needs assessments, trends analysis, environmental scans, program planning, accreditation, etc.
  • Perform the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
  • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
  • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum.
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and spreadsheet, database and other software applications to enter data, and create reports and communications
  • Ability to meet deadlines and simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from accredited college or university; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Important Notes

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
